With only 3 weeks left until the start of the 2009 Mountain Adventures
Summer Camp there are still some places left for week 1 and week 2. The program has been updated to include a trip to a
ropes course and a new overnight hike that
hasn't been done in TMI history. The summer
staff are already arriving and eager to
start two weeks of action packed fun. With
the inclusion of extra night activities
this is shaping up to be the best TMI Summer
Camp yet!

The 2009 Summer Camp Experience Starts Here
As part of our Summer Camp program each camper will be able to come to the Spruce Knob Mountain Center on the picturesque slopes of the Appalachian mountains to experience a week in adventure! We will raft the wild waters of the Cheat River, hike to the highest point in West Virginia and then travel through the woods to have an overnight camping experience. One of the highlights from last years' camp will be returning, laser tag! We will also be offering art sessions, cooking and baking and many other activities. And if the weather proves to be suitable for rock climbing we will put on our harnesses and start our ascent! Our night activities are just as much fun as our day activities. We will build campfires, go on night hikes, and be able to observe the stars in our observatory!
